Morish Castle (Historical Building)

iDigital was tasked with developing a highly detailed BIM model of the historic Moorish Castle in Gibraltar, based on laser scan data provided by the client. The Moorish Castle, particularly its iconic Tower of Homage, is a significant heritage site dating back to the 8th century and one of the most recognizable Islamic-era structures on the Iberian Peninsula.

The project scope included the modeling of both the main tower and an adjacent annex, along with the integration of topographic survey data from two surrounding zones. All modeling was completed in Autodesk Revit at LOD 300, focusing on architectural and structural elements.

The final model serves as a robust digital asset to support ongoing conservation, documentation, and heritage management efforts.
